    徐扬生,1958年4月7日出生于浙江绍兴,空间机器人与智能控制专家,中国工程院院士、中国人工智能学会首批会士,香港中文大学自动化与计算机辅助工程学讲座教授。 1982年和1984年分别取得浙江大学学士及硕士学位,并于1989年获美国宾夕法尼亚大学博士学位。1989年至1997年间,任美国卡内基梅隆大学计算机学院机器人研究所研究员。1997年起任教于香港中文大学,担任机械与自动化工程学系系主任至2004年,2011年开始担任香港中文大学副校长,现兼任中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院副院长。 2013年7月获聘为香港中文大学(深圳)首任校长,任期4年。 2017年7月,获得香港中文大学(深圳)理事会续聘,任期至2021年。

    1982年,获得浙江大学学士学位。

    1984年,获得浙江大学硕士学位。

    1989年,获得美国宾夕法尼亚大学博士学位。

    1989年至1997年,担任美国卡耐基梅隆大学计算机学院机器人研究所研究员,领域为空间机器人研究。

    1997年,赴香港香港中文大学任教。

    1997年至2004年,担任香港中文大学自动化系系主任。

    1998年至2004年,徐扬生是香港研究资助局工程组成员。

    2001年,当选国际欧亚科学院院士。

    2003年,当选IEEE Fellow。

    2003年至2006年,出任香港生产力促进局董事。

    2004年至2006年,担任中国国家高科技航天航空领域委员会顾问。

    2006年至2008年,担任香港中文大学校长助理。

    2006年至今,担任中国科学院香港中文大学深圳先进集成技术研究所所长。

    2006年至今,担任中国科学院深圳先进技术研究院副院长。

    2007年,当选国际宇航科学院院士。

    徐扬生院士 徐扬生院士

    徐扬生长期从事机器人与智能控制系统研究,在空间机器人的设计、控制及动力学研究,以及无重力地面试验设施的研制等方面作出了重要贡献。他致力于推动我国航天智能控制技术的发展,提出并参与了有关航天智能系统的研制。同时,他对动态稳定系统的控制、人类控制策略的自动建模、穿戴式智能人机界面、以及全方位混合动力汽车等进行了深入研究和系统开发。发表论文270多篇、专著3部、编著1部。

    徐教授热心服务社会并积极参与专业活动,曾任香港生产力促进局董事(2003-2006),香港研究资助局工程组成员(1998-2004),中国国家高科技航天航空领域委员会顾问(2004-2006),中国自动化学会理事(2002至今),国际欧亚科学院院士(2001至今),国际宇航科学院通讯院士(2007至今),IEEE Fellow(2003至今),IEEE机器人与自动化学报副主编(1997-2000),及深圳市决策咨询委员会顾问(2008至今)。

    徐扬生出生于上世纪50年代浙江绍兴的一个书香家庭。高中毕业后,经历了两年的知青生活。1977年恢复高考,被浙江大学录取。7年后,到美国留学,获得宾夕法尼亚大学博士学位。随后在卡内基梅隆大学任教并从事机器人研究,事业如日中天   。
